T-Rex Discovery Centre - Cretaceous Gallery
Step into the past and be amazed and enthralled. The T-Rex Discovery Centre offers an exciting display of the Cretaceous and Tertiary periods of earth history. The Cretaceous "age of dinosaurs" is a spectacle of archaeological history and discoveries with strong emphasis on Tyrannosaurus rex. A full T-rex has been unearthed in the area and is the focal point of the Centre.
The Tertiary "age of mammals" gallery exhibits the evolution of beasts more familiar to our eye.
The two galleries are part of the T-Rex Discovery Centre located in the fossil-rich Southwestern corner of Saskatchewan at Eastend, Saskatchewan, Canada. The working paleontology lab is operated by the Royal Saskatchewan Museum.
- One of the exciting focuses of the Centre is the discovery of Scotty - one of the few complete T-Rex discoveries in the world!
- Vibrant graphics and amazing fossils move visitors through layers of time - an evolution of species and of theories pertaining to the Cretaceous period.
- Tyrannosaurus rex is represented in a life-size mural depiction.
